i need a bock recipe. i don't have a cooling space to keep things at lagering temps though so it needs another yeast, any help would be appreciated.

Fri, June 9, 2006 - 8:57 PMi have experimented with doing a hefe weizen style doppel bock. i used a few pounds more grain and went with a little darker stuff over my usual hefe weizen recipe. basically you just want to increase the sugar content to get to higher alcohol content. there are a lot of recipe's around for you to choose from. with the hefe weizen, you are brewing an ale, so you get out of the temp problems associated with lager brews.
